Paste your crash info, or upload a photo of it

Paste a crash report or error from a game, an app or Windows itself and get the likely cause and what to try. A crash can't be fixed automatically, every program breaks differently. This reads what you paste, matches it against a list of known crash causes, and gives you the steps people use to fix them. If it does not recognise the crash, it says so.

Try an example:
Where do I find the crash info on Windows?
  1. Easiest: right after the crash, open PowerShell (Start menu, type PowerShell, Enter), paste the line below and press Enter. It copies the last 3 crash reports to your clipboard. Then paste here.

  2. Error popup: type out the message, or press Ctrl+C while the popup is selected and paste.

  3. Log file: many games and apps keep a log file in their folder or in Documents. Open it, copy the last 50 lines.
    4. 
        
  4. Minecraft: open the newest file in the crash-reports folder and paste all of it.
